Sharing Report Premium per user with Pro Account

Hello,

i've this scenario. With my Power Bi PRO account, i'm publishing reports on Service that i share with other guest users (every user has a PRO account too). 'Cause the dataset of some pbix is growing more and more, getting closer to the roof 1 GB for each report, i'm evaluating to upgrade my Account from Power Bi PRO to Premium per user.

But i've a doubt: after uprgrading, will i be able to continue sharing reports with guest users that still remain with their PRO account? Or they have to upgrade their account too to Premium per User?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @PierpaolON ,

Users must have a Premium Per User (PPU) license to access content in a Premium Per User (PPU) workspace or app.

You can grant access to users to the workspace who don’t have a PPU license, but they will receive a message stating they cannot access the content. They'll then be prompted to get trial license, if they are eligible. If they aren’t eligible, they must be assigned a license by their Admin to gain access to the resource.

So here what  they mean by "if they are eligible"??

I just sign up the trial of premium per user PBI.  I also have the same question about how to share reports/datasets for workspace with premium capacity with someone who doesn't have a premium license.  If the other party does not have premium license and I can't share reports or dataset with them, it seems to complicate my workflow unnecessarily.

Hope someone can provide a clear view.

Thanks!
