Shared datasets tutorial?

Anyone have a good tutorial that can show me how shared datasets work?

I'm thinking you have a "master" .pbix file with all your datasets inside and set up perfectly.  You then have other .pbix files that connect to this master .pbix file.  Then any time you want to create new measures or make other adjustemnts, you only upate the master .pbix file and all other connected .pbi files are then automatically updated.

That about it?

Hi, @bryanc78

It’s my pleasure to answer for you.

According to your description,I think you may be a little confused about the relationship between .pbix files and datasets.

As we know,One .pbix file may contain multiple connected data sources, but only one dataset (total) will be generated. And if you create new measures or make other adjustemnts and save it,It will be updated naturally.

You can share your dataset in PBI Service.

If it doesn’t solve your problem, please feel free to ask me.
