All,
We have dashboards in production that reference an Excel file saved within a SharePoint folder. This has worked for the past couple of months, and worked up until around 1 am this morning.
If you reference a SharePoint folder as a datasource, are you experiencing an error refreshing your data through the Power BI Service? Any help is appreciated!
The data source error is concerning as it is referencing an Excel file.
Thanks in advance,
Brad

According to your description, I have tested it on my site, and it works all fine for me. Do you still have this issue now?

Hello
I have the same problem, I have a report connected to One Drive for business, a few months ago it was working ok, but now, even in Power Bi Online or Power Bi Desktop, it doesn't work and I got the next message:
DataSource.Error: Web.Contents failed to get contents from 'https://onesofttek-my.sharepoint.com/personal/iperez_softtek_com/_api/web/lists/getbyid('d60d931e-21...' (500): Internal Server Error
Details:
DataSourceKind=SharePoint
DataSourcePath=https://onesofttek-my.sharepoint.com/personal/iperez_softtek_com

I have a user reporting this same issue. "Get Folder" connecting to his OneDrive for Business is now failing. It was working for several months. Was there ever a resolution on this?
Thanks.
I am having similar issue. Do you have a solution to it?
One of my users is now seeing this same error "web.contents failed to get contents.....". Was there ever a resolution on this?
I am experiencing the same issue, tried many work arounds, no resolution. Refresh works fine on the desktop client, but fails on the Power BI Service.
