Share to an external user

Hello,

when i share a my report to an external user, i get the message "share was succesfull". But after that i can not see the user in the sharing settings. The external user don´t get an email oder the access to the report too.

Both using Power Bi Pro (test licence).

The fearture of share worked fine when I tested. Can you please share more details?

• Can the user see the shared report in the list of Shared with me?

•  Do you check if the option of "Send email notification to recipients" is selected?

  

• Do you check if the user is in the list of permissions?

• Do you try to share other reports? Do all the reports occur the problem or just that one?

The external user can not see the shared report in the list. The list is still empty.

Yes, i checked the option. I tried to share my reports more than once.

Yes, i checked the list. There is no entry for the user.

Do you try to share other reports? Do all the reports occur the problem or just that one?

Yes, i tried it to. The external user do not get access to my reports.

I shared my reports like your description. All internal users can see my shared reports - all external not. In both cases i get a succesfull reply.

I think I forgot an important point. Please check if enable the option of "Share content with external users"  in Admin portal.

thank you for your help. At this moment, i can´t see or change settings. I have to check my administration role.
