Share app with entire organization

Hello everyone, I have an question sharing reports/dashboards to an entire organization.

I have created some reports/dashboards and have put them in an "APP" inside an workspace. I would like to share these with the whole organization. My question on this is: How does Power BI define the entire organization? Where do I have to put in the e-mail adresses of the organiaztion so that someone belongs to the organization?

If anything is unclear, let me know.

Thanks

Hello @Anonymous , you can share your dashboards, reports provided you and your organization has a PowerBI Pro License.

Can go through this link for more details like how to share, access, providing emails, etc.,

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-share-dashboards

Also, you can look into RLS for security across the organization to filter out the data based on the roles you specify.

Hi @Anonymous ,

It boils down the tenant settings that have been set up by your admin(s). I've listed the two you need below.

If these are enabled for a scoped set of users you belong to, then you should be able to pick 'Entire Organization' when publishing the app.

I believe, but I'd have to test this to be sure .., that the app gets pushed to every users that has some form of license at that point.

The behaviour for users that get added a Power BI Subscription after the app gets published, is something you should test out ..

Pushing the apps installs it automatically for every user, otherwise they can just discover it for themselves through the Service.
