Share Power BI Report to Entire Organization on Sharepoint

We need to share a Power BI Report to entire organization. To do that, we published report to premium workspace and then created an APP with permission set to entire organization. Then we embed the App URL on a sharepoint page. Few users when navigating to Sharepoint page, receive the message 'Content not available'. After they sign in to app.powerbi.com, they can see the report in sharepoint page. As we are publishing to entire organization, how can we dispaly report in sharepoint page to all users without asking them to signin to app.powerbi.com ?

Hi @ebincherian

The user in your organizetion can sign in Sharepoint by their Power Bi account.

And please check if they are members of the site and have access to the report.(the account the sign in sharepoint)

You may refer to this blog for embed reports on sharepoint: Embed the Power BI project report in SharePoint Online

Hi,

I am still facing issue. I have pro licence and I published report to a premium workspace. Created an app and then generated Sharepoint online URL for app. Then embedded this on a sharepoint page. I  have access to the sharepoint page. Issue is some users are able to see, while some are getting 'Content isn't available' message. Some days I also receive this message even though I am the owner and I published the app. Could you please help to troubleshoot this issue ?

Hi @ebincherian

Please check whether all users who are not available to content in the same organization.

You could try to add users who are not available to the content into the Premium workspace(give them access to this report).

I found an issue like yours and I hope it could help you: Sharepoint Embed - content not available

Hi @ebincherian

If you want to share reports on sharepoint, the viewer needs to be a member of sharepoint.

And you share the app URL, they need to have access to the this report, so they need to signin to their powerbi account.

You may try Publish to Web, and the viewer don't need to be a user of power bi.

You may refer to this blog: Publish to web

@v-rzhou-msft  Is there a way to make automtatic signin to Power BI from Sharepoint ? We don't want users to come to sharepoint and thhen again type in username/password to view the report.
