Setting Alerts in Power BI Service

Can you set alerts for non-numeric values? For instance I'm pulling data in from Microsoft Forms. If a participant selects are particular response I want it to send an alert via Power BI. Is that possible?

Re: Setting Alerts in Power BI Service

No. Alerts are very simplistic in the service. You cannot even set an alert if a measure is <> 0. You have to set two alerts, one if it is above zero, and a second if it is below zero.

You'd need to create a measure turning your non-numerical value into a number somehow so the service alert could do its above/below comparison.
