Hi there,
once more a question from my side.
I have a report showing different KPIs for several locations.
For each location there is a single sub site in sharepoint.
I want to embedd the power bi report to each subsite (location) but I want to set a filtered view to only see the data for this specific location (subsite).
So what I need is:
a idea how to save different filters in the report and then to embedd just these differenmt filetered views into sharepoint
Is that somehow possible?
Sure, I can create (duplicate) the man report to several new sites in power BI and set filters on each different site in that report, but if I need to change ione single thing in the report I have to duplicate this site again svereal times...
Hope you can give me a hint...
regards

It's me again 😉
Found a solution:
1. Report needs to be in the "workspace" from that sharepoint group!!!
2. Embedd report as Iframe with filter like
&filter=Location/Site eq 'Cityname'
Hint: you can also disable the filter panel and the page selection panel
&filterPaneEnabled=fals
&navContentPaneEnabled=false

just a quick update from my side:
I tried the filter string added to the URL
?filter=Location/Site eq 'Cityname'
This is working when opening the report directly in the browser but this is not working when adding the report as webapp, Iframe or directly embedded url.
Any other ideas?

Hi again.
With this solition the sso does not work!
Different user only sees a Log In button instead of the report.
Report is stored in a group. User is part of that group.
Any ideas how to slove this???
