Selecting parameters in an App

One of my users has created parameters to filter out the data in several published reports. These reports are part of an App. We know how to change the parameters from the Dataset settings in the workspace, but how does a user select these parameters in the App?

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can try to use the dynamic m query parameters, create new table in your data model and bind it to the existing parameter in power bi , use the new column from the table as the slicer. User can simply change the parameter by the slicer. For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-dynamic-m-query-parameters

Hi @Anonymous

Currently it is not possible for changes of parameters from an App.

The only alternative would be to create a slicer or filter to make changes.
