Selecting multiple slicer options via an input

Hi all,

Is there any to select multiple items in a slicer without needing to select each option individually(via CTRL+click).

Such as a way for a user on service to upload an excel file with the a list of slicer items they'd like to select and powerBI automatically selects them in the report? Is anything like that possible?

A long time ago there was a custom visual "FilterByList"  that did what you describe.  No idea if it is still available.

Hi @goalie_ ,

If your slicer puts a date field, you can click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the slicer and select Between.

If not, the solution is to use Advanced filtering in Filters.
