Script to Update Connection on All Datasets in Premium Capacity

We currently use the Enterprise Gateway to connect to our on premise SSAS tabular models and SQL Server databases on our Premium Capacity.  We are in the process of replacing our servers with new servers on different internal domains.

 

We need to update the connections to all of our dashboards\reports to point to our new servers.

 

Is there a script that we can run that will allow us to change the connection on all of our datasets that have been published to our PowerBI Premium capacity?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

You could consider changing the connection string by Power BI Rest API, but it's complex and only supported in DirectQuery model. Please refer to below similar threads:
