Hi There,
I have built a report in Power BI Desktop by using the OData connector to connect to an on-premise version of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) using an organisation login and IFD. This has gone well so far and I now want to publish to the Power BI Service.
It was able to publish fine but now I want to be able to schedule a refresh.
I have seen documentation that suggests this isn't possible but it seemed out of date so I wanted to see if anyone else had any luck.
I go into the Dataset Setting on the Power BI Service and get "Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again.". When I go to edit credentials I only get the authentications methods of "Anonymous", "Windows", "Basic" or "Key".
I don't get "OAuth" which I understand would be what I need to login with the organisation account I used for Power BI Desktop.
Has anyone been able to get such a connection working?
Is there something I can do with gateways I can do to get this to work? If so what steps would I need to go through?
I do have access to the backend if necessary.
Any other advice for my situation?

Hi @Anonymous,
How about using the on-prem gateway instead of personal one?

Hi @v-frfei-msft, sorry for the late reply.
Unfortunately this is not an option as I am using an R Script in my query.
I believe R Scripts only work for a personal gateway?
