Hello, I've seen several older posts about this but, haven't been able to find an answer for me. Thought I would try posting for some help.
I have a Power BI dataset that is no longer refreshing via scheduled refresh. The scheduled refresh appears to have completed but, no new data is coming into the dataset. I have to manually refresh the pbix file and republish to get new data. Also, when I try to Refresh Now from the Power BI Service nothing happens.
I tried deleting the dataset from Power BI Service and republishing but, now I am getting this message:
"You can't schedule refresh for this dataset because the following data sources currently don't support refresh:
Data source for Query1". I do not have a Query1 in my dataset, though.
I'm at a complete loss as to what to try next. My admin checked the Gateway logs and did not see any issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Adam
Hi @AdamBCBSNE ,
Would you please check the data source with the data source in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/power-bi-data-sources that support refresh.
For more details, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-admin-troubleshoot-unsupported-data-s...

Hi @v-deddai1-msft, my data source is Azure DevOps Server Analytics Views. I have other dashboards with the same source that are not experiencing this issue. From the link you sent, that matches up because it lists the Analytics Views as refresh supported. Any other ideas on things to check?
@AdamBCBSNE - Very difficult to troubleshoot. You could check the Issues forum here:
https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
And if it is not there, then you could post it.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
