Hi,
I've got a series of reports & datasets setup in Workspaces with daily Scheduled Refreshes running. These have been active for at least 6mths without issues but in the last 48hrs all have failed. Different datasets have given the same general error message of "There was an error when processing the data in the dataset."
Individual errors from datasets include:
"Value was not specified. Table: xxxx1."
"Invalid placeholder in format string. Table: xxxx2"
The reports have not been changed in the last week and I can manually refresh them without issues using Power BI Desktop.
Any suggestions on what could have changed or what I can do to resolve this will be much appreciated.
Thanks
HI @Anonymous ,
have you update your gateway to last version?(Old version may cause some compatibility issue)
BTW, can you please share some detail information to help us clarify your scenario?(e.g. datasource type, connection mode, detailed error message, request id, snapshots...)
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
Hi,
The connection isn't using a gateway as all data is cloud-based in Azure environment, Cosmos DB. The request ID for one of the failed refreshes is ca9b3a05-dd11-487b-b4f8-2ed2f768ea03
Thanks
HI @Anonymous ,
Where are your pbi data host?(you can find it by click '?' icon -> 'about power bi')

Hi,
The data is hosted in North Europe (Ireland).
Thanks
Hi @Anonymous ,
I traced your request id and find this issue seems more related to azure service:
Could not parse IP address from AAD JWT: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Model (id = 4677292) refresh failed with error, next refresh time will be'05/11/2019 01:00:00', continuous failure count = 3, exception:[0]Microsoft.PowerBI.Common.PowerBIDataMovementBasedRefreshFailure: AS Engine received from Data Movement Service. HttpStatus: 400.
Please contact to azure admin to confirm this or submit a support ticket for this to get better support.
Regards,
Xiaoxin Sheng
