Scheduled refresh fail

Hi,

 

I've just installed a data gateway on a server that is always available and then scheduled a refresh for a particular dataset each morning. I have used the data gateway to grab data by just using the refresh button, but for some reason the scheduled refreshes are failing. I got an email this morning notifying me of the failure, but where the email says 'Failure details:' the explanation is blank (not very helpful!). I've pasted the text from the email body below:

 

Something went wrong

Refresh failed:

Aged Creditors Dashboard has failed to refresh.
Failure details:

Next refresh for Aged Creditors Dashboard is scheduled for July 12, 2019 9:00 UTC.

The gateway should be installed on your PC, so when you run the refresh from your PC, It works well.

Please keep your PC on and then refresh on other PC.

The gateway runs on the computer where you install it, so ensure that you install on a computer that is always on. For better performance and reliability, we recommend that the computer is on a wired network, rather than a wireless one.

Just from this, we couldn't find out the reason.

If you could try to refresh the dataset manually, then check if it works well, and if it goes wrong, you could see the details of the error.

Thanks for getting in touch.

 

Our IT support tried to run the refresh from the server that the data gateway is installed on and he got the error 'There is no gateway available'. However, if I run the refresh from my PC using the same gateway then it works without error.

I have the same issue, all of a sudden, my power bi service (which includes about 40 reports) started failing scheduled refresh at the same time, but it refreshes fine in power bi desktop. I have also installed Data gateway in my pc (it was working fine for last 6 months before today. The queries that I have created also execute fine on my SSMS as well. I am using SQL as my datasource. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
