Scheduled Refresh of Only One Data Source of Dataset

Hi,

I have a file with 9 data sources in the dataset, only one of which needs refreshing regularly.

In the Power BI Desktop file I have set it to only refresh the source I need.

However, the scheduled refresh seems to be refreshing everything which is taking a long time (20 mins vs 1 min if I just refresh and re-publish the one I want from Power BI Desktop).

Is there a way to do this? Is it just a latency issue from using the data gateway? Or have I likely set something up wrong?

Thanks

So, to be clear, you have set the other data source to not be included in report refresh in the Query Editor? Correct?

Yes that's right.

Is it just that the data gateway takes a lot longer than refreshing and republishing would?
