Hello Folks,
I am working on Incremental Refresh POC with one table. I loaded the entire table to start with and then configured incremental refresh and scheduled one.
I am trying to insert one record at a time and scheduling a refresh. Although I can see my scheduled refresh a success, I do not know whether it performed entire load of the table or only incremental.
How can I validate that? Schedule refresh history does not tell me any details on number of records fetched during the refresh.
Hi npowerbi,
Suppose you have large dataset, change some data in your data source, then you can compare the refresh time between import and incremental refresh. If the refresh time has been reduced obviously, it means power bi are using incremental refresh.

Hey,
maybe this idea would help, create a view upon your table and add a column that contains the current_timestamp, if the refresh loads all the data this timestamp will contain values that you would not expect in your dataset inside Power BI.
I did not try this myself, just an idea.
Regards,
Tom
