Saving a shared dashboard

I am trying to save a dashboard that has been shared with me by another user. Does Power BI service has the option for that or not. If not what can I do to make the dashboard that has been shared with me as my own indivivual dashboard?

@Anonymous Dashboards are read only. You would need the individual to give you the PBIX file so you could publish it to your own workspace. This would also require that you have the same access and permissions as the report author.

Another way, that I wouldn't recommend, is for the report author to create a Content Pack and give you access. (This is being deprecated at some point though). And you could create a copy or version of the dashboard for you to customize.

@Seth_C_Bauer Thanks for clarifying that the dashboards are read only and a work around is creating a content pack and sharing with the group. I think the better approach would be to use of the apps feature and publish the app as the contect pack itself id read only and you have to copy the enitre dashboard and reports to your workspace if you want to work and create a new unique copy. I was just wondering if there was a workaround for that but I guess using the Apps feature is the ideal way to proceed.

Thanks
