Hi all,
I have a question about a sql file dump. I will have a daily dump of a sql database placed on my on-premise server. I have installed a datagateway and in the dataflow I can see the sql dump. The only problem is, how do I transform this file so I can see all the tables in the dataflow. So how can I "Open" this file? It is just a query of the sql dump.

Hi @TiesK ,
If these are in the " .sql " format then the best way is to get them into a SQL database so that Power BI can connect to them. Once they are connected, they can be connected to using the built in Power BI connector.
The the dump file is already in " .csv" or " .txt" format then you can use the Power connecter for text/csv. (No, changing the file extension name from .sql to .csv will not work 🙂 )
