SAP HANA & SAP BW4HANA Dataflows

Dear Product development team,

I am sure that the future is going to be directly creating the Dataflows directly at Power BI Service due to number of advantages like

Data modelling can be directly done at PB Service level

Share the Dataflow at various Workspaces etc.

We really looking forward to Creating SAP HANA,BW, BW4HANA Dataflows which is showstopper for our strategical direction.

i am sure that you are seriously looking into this issue and when can we expect this will enable feature?

Hi, 

Is there any work been done on the SAP BW connector to allow it to be used in a DataFlow? I quite like the dataflow capability, but more than a little annoying that it won't hook into SAP.

Hi @vadlamudibi, 

You can create a dataflow connects to SAP Business Warehouse and SAP HANA by copying and pasting the M query into a blank query. See:

Currently the Power BI dataflow doesn't support BW4HANA data sources, see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-dataflows-data-sources#data-sources-for-dataflows
