Row level security test as role in service

Hi,

When look to test as role in desktop client to check row level security looks to be working as expected.

Woudl like to check viewing as role in service - is the best/only way to do this in service to hit the three little dots next to the dataset/test as role?

Also if republoish a report with same name and same dataset name, woudl this mean have to reassign users to the roles each time?

Have set up the roles and assigned users to the roles in the dataset/security in service.

Thanks

Hi @po ,

Based on my test, If you publish the report to the same app worksapce. You should not reassign users to the roles in power bi service. All the users are still there you set last time.

If you publish the report the another new workspace. To reset roles is necessary.
