Row level security for internal users and external users

Hi  All ,

Is there  possibility to  show  same report  to Internal users and External  users  in 2 different levels using row level security ??
Here Levels means ...if the internal user is login then the report has to show for full  level  and if external user login the report has to show different level

Example : country >>state>>district> total sales
If the internal user login the report has to display   "Country >>state>>district>> Total sales"
If the external user login the report has to display  "District>> Total sales" using rowlevel security

Thanks

Sandeep

Hi @avulasandeep ,

Are you describing column level or row level? For now, only row level security is supported. To achieve column level security, you can only create different reports as an alternative.

Liang

If you maintain a reference table with emails ( USERPRINCIPALNAME() ) and permission scope, and if that table is at the far outside of your data model and is impacting all other tables then you should be able to pull this off.

However, I would think that this is a maintenance nightmare.  It would be much better to use different apps for internal and external audiences.
