We are having a use case where we need to display near real-time information on Power BI.
So we are using logic Apps to push data into the Power Bi Dashborads from an Oracle DB table. the logic app uses the Power BI Connector to add rows to the Power Bi Dashboard.
But the ask is that the Dashboards need to display only the data specific to the users organization.
It seems that we have to create separate dashboards/Power BI Apps for different organizations to segregate the data but this will increase the maintenance effort.
Can you please help with a better approach?
You can connect to your ORACLE database with directquery and can configure RLS for data models imported into Power BI with Power BI Desktop.
Then you can publish report to Power BI services, with DirectQuery connection, datasets are refreshed approximately each hour or when interaction with the data occurs.
Please refer to the links below to see the details.

Hi @pbasu
My first question would be what is the requirement for Near-Real Time data? As often I have found that there are very limited cases for realtime data scenario's.
Sometimes when the question gets asked it is often hourly is sufficient.
If hourly is sufficient you could then build the data model using Power BI Desktop and then you can leverage Row Level Security. And then using the Gateway you can refresh the dashboard up to 8 times a day?
