Retain comments in report after republishing the report

Good day,

My users have input comments in reports that are published in an app (they are book marking the visual to which the comment relates).  However, if I update the report with a new month in the desktop report and republish to the app, these comments are not linking to the original visuals.  When the bookmark is selected, the visuals show errors.

Would appreciate assistance.

Many thanks

Karen

Hi @Anonymous - this may be slightly outdated now given the updates that have happened to Power BI since August 2019, but I found the comments were retained after I republished my updated report to the App.

Hope you had some success with this one.

Hi @Anonymous ,

By my test, it worked fine. Becaused of captured automatically,  I think it may be not stable for  this feature to use in fact. You could post a feedback about the scenario in the following blog.
