Restrict access to a bookmark

Hello friends,

I have a nagivation pane based on bookmarks.

Do you have an idea how to restrict an access of certain users to a specific button?

I do manage Row Level Security...

Thanks a lot!

Michael

Hi @michaelshparber

It seems impossible currently.

everyone who view the report can click on the bookmak button, what you can limit is the data on the page the bookmark button navigating to.

You may add your idea here to make this feature possible in the future.

Best Regards

Maggie

Hi @michaelshparber

Let me confirm your requirements as below:

What you have done:

there are some buttons on a report page which nagivate to different bookmarks.

you have managed RLS for this report.

What you want:

some users can see the button, but when he click the button to see the bookmark, it doesn't work.

he can't see any data on the bookmark.

Right?

If so, i believe RLS can help.

Please show me an data example with data structure and relationships among tables so i can test for your scenario.

Best Regards

Maggie

Thanks @v-juanli-msft

Not exactly.

I would like to be able to limit certain users to click on a bookmark button.

Thanks
