Restore Incremental Data in a BI Dataflow

I have a data flow with nearly 11mill records with incremental refresh enabled, the incremental refresh was reset and now all my data is gone. Is there any way to restore the data? this is really complicated because all the data is in separate excel files and we would no to collect all the hundreds of excel files and consolidate to be able to recover the data.

Hello, I have an open ticket escalation with Microsoft. Seems like the incremental data should not be refreshed when an ML module is enabled and data shouldn't be erased from Azure DataLake. I had a call with an MS representative to emulate the issue in another data flow to trace all the details. Waiting for resolution.

Hi @Anonymous ,

It seems restore dataflows is available to Power BI premium.

But I did not find any information on how to restore the data that was deleted by incremental refresh if you didn't backup the data.

Best Regards,

Jay
