Hi all,
I'm currently looking into PowerBI to judge if it is possible to uplink all our Excel-Files to Zoho.
We have multiple Excel files in use and although we want to use the data stored in those in a multitude of Zoho apps, it is highly unlikely Excel will ever be abandoned. Therefore, I'm looking for a possibility to mirror all Excel-Files to Zoho Reports.
Being entirely unfamiliar with PowerBI, I'm not entirely certain which license will be required for that. Can I just get one PowerBI Pro License for a single user who then creates the interface from Excel-Files to PowerBI and PowerBI to Zoho?
Does the data transfer happen without any further action of the user (and without the user being logged in)?
Thanks a million in advance,
best wishes,
Tim

HI @Anonymous
Unless you have a large numbers of users (>400) it will be necessary to have a Power BI licence for everyone that creates, or consumes a Power BI report. This can be the standard Power BI Pro licence, but everyone who wants to see the Report will need to have one.
See Power BI Free vs Pro | What's The Difference | Burningsuit
When you create a Power BI report based on your Excel data, you can then automate the refreshing of the Report, so that when the Excel data changes the Report is updated to reflect those changes. This can happen without any interaction from the user and without them being logged in at the time.
Hope this helps
