Request data from Python script in Power BI Service

Hi,

I wrote a python script that gets data via an FTP connection and processes it for Power BI. It works fine in Power BI desktop but as I want it to be refreshed triggered by a Microsoft Flow when there is a new file in the FTP, I need to have it as a data source in Power BI service. I can't find a way to request data in PowerBI service using python. Did I just miss it or is there no way yet to do so?

Thought I solved it by making the request in PowerBI Desktop and publishing/sharing it to/with my own workplace to make the dataset available in PowerBI Service, but this will just generate a copy of my data, so that it will not be updated once I trigger a refresh (it says it has been updated but the data remains the same)
