Repository for both Power BI Free and PRO users

Currently, we have the Groups feature in Power BI Service so we can share reports to a group of people from our organization (Power BI PRO users).

Is it planned for the Power BI Service environment to work as a repository of reports within a company, so we can share dashboards with groups of users from the same company and manage the permissions they have for the reports (see, share, modify) for both FREE and PRO users?

@asaemart

You can edit the licence for users in O365 Admin center if you are the administrator of your organization. Please see: Administering Power BI in your organization

Hi @v-sihou-msft,

We would like to manage the permissions for some specific reports we want to develop/share.

I do not see what you mean, what can we manage from O365 Admin Center?

Cheers,

Yes, but if you use Pro features then users need a Pro license to view them. But both Pro and Free users can exist within the same organization.

Hi @Greg_Deckler,

from your experience, which is the best option we can use for developing (PRO users) and sharing the reports (with PRO and FREE users)? There are several options such as Groups, Share Points, but we have not found an optimum solution.

Regards,

The best option...today...would be to not use Pro features for reports that you need to share with Free users. Barring that, the next best option would be to use Publish to Web.
