Is it by design that callout visuals render in PBI Desktop and PBI Service differently?
I have a report set to 16:9 type and the call out visuals fit perfectly when designing in PBI Desktop but once uploaded to the PBI service, the text gets cut off.
This was a constant issue in SSRS (reports rendering differently in the browser vs. Visual Studio) and it caused me to not use SSRS as a reporting solution because its such a headache to have to guess at how a certain visual is going to render in the browser.
Please do not let Power BI go down this route where the only way to see how a report will render on the web is to actually deploy it to the service itself. Reports should render exactly the same in PBI Desktop and the PBI service.
