I have a power BI Pro account(trial). I am currently trying to export report of a report and dataset using REST APIs.
I have the dataset and report in a workspace where premium capacity is on. I'm getting this error when I try to execute the Reports - Export To File In Group API (POST https://api.powerbi.com/v1.0/myorg/groups/{groupId}/reports/{reportId}/ExportTo) :
{"error":{"code":"FeatureNotAvailableError","pbi.error":{"code":"FeatureNotAvailableError","parameters":{},"details":[]}}}.
Can you please let me know what can be the issue and how to resolve it?
Thanks and Regards,
Ratan
Solved! Go to Solution.
The REST API feature needs a Pro License or Premium, if you don't have neither one then you will face the limitations.

Hi @aj1973,
Is there some way where I can check the working of the export to file in PDF format on this trial account?
The REST API Export To File In Group has a limitation:
Limitations: Premium Per User (PPU) is not supported.
I created a workspace which was premium enabled, but still it will not help in this case due to this limitation.
I need to check and report the feasibility export the report in PDF through REST API.
Thanks,
Ratan
