Report won't open from menu, but opens immediately from link

Hi, first post! I'm reading similar posts, but can't find a solution: When I publish to My Workspace or my team's Workspace, and click the link that PBI Desktop provides, the report opens immediately in either. When instead I click the menu to the right of the report name in either Workspace, and select OPEN, it circles and says "Almost Done," and won't complete. This is regardless of browser. Am I doing something wrong???? Thank you!!!

Which browser are you using?

And then what happens if you had to log out and then log back into the Power BI Service and navigate to your report and then click on it via the navigation?
