Hi i was having issues with the gateway before and now i resolved it by uninsytalling and reinstalling the gateway. Now i have a different issue. I created a report from live CUBE. I added a new datasource to the Gateway and published the report w/o any errors , when i open the power bi url and click on my report first i get an error message and when i click "X" on the error message , the report seems to be loading and everything is blank and i can only see this below

Hey,

I'm wondering if your SSAS data model (no matter if Tabular or Multidimensional) has some access roles defined?

If this is the case then it's necessary that you prepare the gateway

Please watch this video carefully

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG05PG9aiRw

If your SSAS data model has access roles read this:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-enterprise-manage-ssas#ad-lookup-mapping

It's also necessary that the user that you are using to establish the connection is a SSAS instance admin, it's not sufficient that the user is assigned to a role that has adminitrative rights to the SSAS database

The following video provides some additional information:

Hopefully this provides you with some useful and helpful information.

Regards,

Tom
