It looks like the usage metrics only go back 90 days. Is there a way to go back 6 months?

Hi, @MEFOX ;
The automatic usage metrics reports takes the last 90 days only. The new usage metrics is taking last 30 days only. If you want to build an historic dataset about it, you should consider taking the audit logs from office 365 or the activity logs from Power Bi Rest API and store the data in someplace you will hadle later with Power Bi.

Does this mean that going forward I will only have 30 days of usage metrics or will PowerBI.com continue to provide 90 days?
What is the version of your workspace?
Classic workspace supports 90 days while the modern workspaces support 30 days metrics.
You can have more understandign from here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-usage-metrics
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/collaborate-share/service-modern-usage-metrics
I use modern workspace and just need last 30 days data so it works for me but if more is needed I rely on API based solution.
Hi @MEFOX
By default automatic usage metrics go back only 90 days. The new usage metrics is actually taking last 30 days.
If you want to build an historic dataset about it, you should consider taking the audit logs from office 365 or the activity logs from Power BI Rest API and store the data in someplace you will handle later with Power BI like in csv\excel file or something.
You can aslo look at below url to get an understanding:
