Report Usage Metrics not updated since 26th June?

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing no usage metric data for their reports?  We have no usage since the 26th June across many reports which would normally see 100 users per day.

I know there have been problems with this in the service before - there is a thread from July 2019.

Is this another instance of it going down?

Mark

Hi there

Here is my blog post on how I achieved this.

You could download the files locally and then import them into SQL Server.

Hi @MarkSL ,

Is this problem solved?

Best Regards,

Hi @GilbertQ

Thanks for the link to the Blog!

Hi @Icey

I have checked our usage logs and we are missing all usage stats from Monday 3rd August.  I will therefore raise a support ticket.

Thanks

Mark

I have not seen anything else on the questions.

What i would do is to log a support ticket for them to look into this for you?

Hi @GilbertQ

Yes nor had I, hence asking the question on the forum.  I want to try and get a feel for whether this is a problem seen just by me or also experienced by other users before raising a support ticket 🙂

Looking again at the usage metrics across many workspaces, it appears we are missing usage date from the 13th to 16th July too.

Are you seeing usage metrics in your reports for the 27th and 28th?

Mark

To be honest I do not use the Usage Metrics reports, I get all my reporting via the Audit logs. I find this to be reliable and has good information.

Aha.  Without wanting to derail my own thread, I would be very interested to hear how you go about doing this?  Do you use the new APIs?  I would love to be able to extract usage data into our SQL database, so we can develop some much improved usage reports, with the ability to report across multiple workspaces which is a limitation of the Usage Metrics datasets.
