Report Sharing Cortana

Hello –

I am running into an issue with connecting viewers of my report to Cortana.

I've created a Cortana view for a report of mine called "MSL"

This view is 100% working for me (I can say/type "Show MSL" into Cortana and it will appear as a visual), but when I share the report with others, it is not working for them. We've tested it using the web browser and it worked, but when trying the Cortana search bar it is not working.

- They have logged into O365/Power BI account and turned on Cortana

- We are on the same domain (all work at same company)

- Tested here: https://app.powerbi.com/cortana/test and WORKS

Hi @Anonymous

Does the user can use cortana access to his power bi reports?

What methods you used to share report to users?

For enable cortana with power bi, you can refer to belwo link:

Enable Cortana to access Power BI reports (and their underlying datasets)

Best Regards

Maggie

Sorry for the late reply, I never saw a response notification for this.

Yes, the user has enabled Cortana access for other reports and can use this feature on their own dashboards.

The dashboard has been published to 'My Workspace' in Power BI Service, and shared via the Share Report function.
