Renaming officeo 365 email and effect on BI dashboards

Dear Community Members,

I have a power Bi pro account where there arew many reports are published under My Workspace. Our organzation wants to renaming this email address to something else. I am afraid that this might have some adverse effect on my dashboards/ refresh schedule and embed codes generated for my dashboard,

Please let me know if it is safe to rename the associated email without affecting the current dashboard,

As tested, modifying the user name will not affect the contents of the PBI workspace.

Hi. I'm really not sure about this. I think it shouldn't change anything for you. If you want to be sure make a backup. You can download de reports as .pbix files. The best practise is working with workspaces (not my workspace). You can also create a workspace using powershell to duplicate a worskapce:

That way if you loose everything you have a backup.
