Regarding Security with usage of option: "PUBLISH TO WEB " in power BI web

Hello Team ,

I have a scenario where I have a report .

I have used "Publish to web " for the report and generated a link .

When I shared the link with my team member /other person , he is able to see the reports w/o power BI login.

Question :

1. How the security is handled . There may be a case that , one person could share the link with other 50 and 

they may be able to view the reports w/o login and password .

  As you can see the description for "Publish to web" is "Embed the report for public access by anyone on the internet". There is no security involved.

  You can create a dashboard from your report (pin an item) and can share with anyone within your organisation (same domain)

Hello @Anonymous 

Agreed . 

But are we sure that only entities with same domain can view the report.

We have shared few links with our client . No sure , whether they would be able to open the link as 

they have different domain .
