Hi community!
I've got a dataset stored on Sharepoint (the pbix file & datasource files), when I refresh it from "My workspace" it takes around 30min. But it times out everytime I refresh it from a premium capacity workspace. They are both using the same datasource connection, datasource files, datamodel, etc...
Is there a difference in capacity/ressource/efficiency between the "My workspace" and a premium capacity workspace on the PBI server ?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Claire
HI @ClaireZ ,
The timeout time can be different. The default timeout on Premium is 3 minutes I believe. But, the admin can reset that. I would suggest that you review this article and get with the admin of your Premium tenant and see what is going on.

Thanks, I'll dig that down with our admin team.
But I should have mentioned that it's timing out after running for 5 hours... whereas it takes ~30min to refresh on "My workspace".
Hey @ClaireZ ,
Ok, with that sort of timing I start to think about it being network/firewall/port issues. The times I have experienced delays like that is when there are non-PBI issues like the network. I think that you should try running a network trace (with the network folks) and seeing where the delay is occurring.
