I am presenting an Excel from OneDrive (as Excel).
I scheduled a daily refresh.
The refresh fails (also manually) with error message "Workbook updates are in progress. please try again later". The workbook is not worked on (when this is the siyuation, the message is "The Workbook is Currently Open and being Edited") and the error message is persistent for 16 hours now.
What is the solution?
I had the same issue yesterday, and I've simply removed the "file" in PowerBI (not in OneDrive), and then add it again from PowerBI.
I think there are changes being made behind the scenes because there is now a Onedrive refresh option showing on the schedule refresh option area. This wasn't there before - only the timings for gateway refreshes.
