I have an issue with refreshing data using the Data gateway (I'm using version 3000.5.178 (May 2019)).
Refreshing takes a long time and fail without an error. Refreshing in Power BI Desktop works fine and takes maybe 2 minutes.
Has anyone any ideas?
This issue should be related to the gateway. Please update data gateway to the latest version and check if refresh works well. Also check if the firewall has disabled some port which may be used by data gateway, please refer to this doc: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-onprem#ports

I'm using the latest version of the gateway, installed it yesterday.
No ports are being blocked by the firewall.
Please check if the data source configuration is correct in Manage Gateway option in power bi service.
