Refresh failed (no problem with PBID)

Hello,

I got a problem when I try to refresh the datas with PBI on line.

 

Here is the error :

There is no problem when I refresh it with PBIDesktop.
There is no problem when I publish it from PBIDesktop.
I would like the report refresh itself each hour. It doesn't work and I don't know why.
 
I got many report and it is the only one which the refreshment is failed.
 
Does anybody know the issue?

Hi @Anonymous,

Do you connect to .xls Excel file and refresh it in Power BI Service? If that is the case, refreshing against a .xls file is not supported. As stated in this article, Power BI supports importing or connecting to workbooks created in Excel 2007 and later. Workbooks must be saved as .xlsx or .xlsm file type and be under 250 MB.

To work around the above issue, you can change Excel file form type .xls to .xlsx, then you are able to refresh the dataset in Power BI Service.
