Refresh SharePoint list data in Excel

We have an Excel file with a Data connection to a list in SharePoint Online. We would like to publish this Excel file to powerbi.com as an Excel file. We know how to do that. However, we would like the published Excel file to regularly and automatically update the data in the Excel file based on the data in the SharePoint list. We see the option to trigger the refresh manually. Is there a way to refresh automatically?

Hi there,

I'm not sure if that can be done with Excel. You might be able to use a product called Power Update?

Or you could put the SharePoint list into Power BI as an imported dataset. Which you could then refresh. And your end users could connect to the dataset using the analyze in Excel option?
