Refresh Excel Charts on Service

We've used the Excel Publisher capability to export an Excel visual to a Power BI Dashboard. Other than updating the underlying Excel file and visual, is there a way to connect an Excel visual to a Power BI data model so that the Excel visual on Power BI Service simply refreshes as the PBI dataset is refreshed?

Hi @BUserTG,

Maybe you can try to update this file to sharepoint, then you can use power bi service to get data from sharepoint.

After these, you can pin contents from that workbook and it will use onedrive refresh to keep last data from sharepoint.

Hi there

You could do it with the Power BI Publisher for Excel.

Once this add in is installed you can then directly connect to the data stored in the Power BI Service
