Recently created account can't go pro trial

Hi,

I have a student who needs to try the 60-day trial for the Power BI Pro. We just created an account for him but we are unable to see the free trial.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

@Anonymous ,

Couldn't reproduce this kind of issue. However, there's a workaround if this issue persists, you can active an O365 free trail first. For more details please refer to doc below:

@Anonymous ,

Have you follow the steps in the doc below?

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-self-service-signup-for-power-bi#sign-up-for-a-trial

Please also check if the free trial expires.

If you're asking if we created the account this way, we did not. We created the account during the sign-up process in the website. However, we tried to follow these steps again and the results are the attached screenshots.

Usually, there's an option to use the trial for 60 days in the Power BI Service or whenever the user encounters a restricted content such as sharing dashboards or accessing the security feature. But his account in the PBI Service does not show that.
