Hi guys,
I am looking to use a push dataset. What I have understood is that to be able to get visuals to refresh automatically when the data comes in, I have to place the visuals in a dashboard? A report will not refresh at all?
I would like to use some slicers in the report, and if I add the visuals to a dashboard, the slicers cannot be used then...?
Thanks for any help.

@bininja If I recall correctly the issue isn't that the data doesn't get refreshed, the issue is that the report page won't automatically refresh and show the new data. If you are interacting with the report you should see the changes, but if you are showing this on a TV or something I believe you need to find a 3rd party refresh plug-in.
Hi @bininja ,
To refresh data automatically, if you use Power BI real-time streaming, you can stream data and update dashboards in real-time instead of in report.
Unfortunately, streaming datasets do not support filtering.
You can refer to the document: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-real-time-streaming.

Amy
