I have data in below format and i am importing them into SSAS to create a tabular cube and i have to create rls on the below data
logic is whenever an emp with level as high level logs into power bi report , he should be able to see his data and all lowlevel employes data in his department , whenever a lowlevel emp logs in he should be seeing only his data within his department .
also i want to caluclate their rank depending on their sales and when high level employee logs in he should be able to see his department rank when compared to other departments but when lowlevel employee logs in he shoudl see only his rank in department and overall rank in firm.

Do you have a proper hierarchy that you can traverse with PATH, PATHITEM etc? If yes then you can base your RLS on that. If not then just create roles per level and assign your users as needed. RLS Roles are optimistic. The role with the bigger scope overrules a conflicting role with smaller scope.
i dont have any of such hirerachy , over weekend i tried many things but nothing worked out
i tried creating two individual tables one for high level and one for low level with columns dept , id ,lowlevel and dept , id ,highlevel and made a join between them on department to create the hirerachy but no use .
I really need help of community support team here as i have to complete atleast RLS by end of monday
