Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the RLS funcionality.

I have created some different roles in the desktop and everything is working fine for my report which is embedded.

I want to know if the same RLS roles will also work if I create a dashboard using my report. All the visuals which I have pinned from my report will work with the Roles created in the desktop right?

I just want to be sure that no extra security is created for dashboards.

Hi. Yes. As far as I know the dashboards will apply RLS too. The user logged in will see the data filtered. On the other hand I'm not sure about embedding a dashboard with RLS. I assume it should work, but I would feel better running a test first.
