RLS as a show stopper... why?

Hi folks

Currently RLS is a show stopper for a lot of unique features that make Power BI so intersting like: Q&A, Get Insights and the recently released feature to manage subscription for others.
In paralell I observe that RLS does not have that much presence in the ideas page of PowerBI and it seems to me that this is an issue for only a few customers.
We are a large coporation with over 60k employees globally and we use RLS not only for security but for the simple fact to avoid spamming our end users with "unnecessary" data. Indiviudals should only see their area of responsibility in order to find the information they need and react accordingly.
RLS is easy to manage in Power BI and I like they it is set up, but I wonder: How can it be that RLS is such a show stopper in terms of feautures although other corporations face the same challenges as us and why aren't there more requests to have this fixed?

Are there better ways to manage data effectively in Power BI without the use of RLS? Generating "regional" datasets is one option I see, but that creates a lot of overhead and reduandant datasets...

I am curious to hear your opinion and would love to hear some input from the roadmap. Will there ever be a time where RLS no longer restricts us?

Though RLS is a great feature, it still has some limitations currently, such as you mentioned above.

You could vote this idea in here which has been submitted in Power BI ideas forum and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.

You also could post your other new idea in Power BI ideas Forum.
