We had Power BI Gateway set up to an on-premise SQL Analysis Services.
Roles are defines on the SSAS, and user mapping is set in PBI Gateway.
everything worked, user created new reports using datasets from other reports.
we move the SSAS to another on premise server recreated the gateway datasource.
redeployed the original reports (replacing the datasets)
Opening reports connected to a dataset, used only in that report, is successfull.
But when I try to open a report using a shared dataset, it gives me the error 'The report can't be viewed because the underlying dataset uses row-level security (RLS)'

Hi @fbouckaert
So did you have access to the shared dataset ? Please check the user mapping for the shared dataset to judge whether you have the permission to access the dataset .
